This Interactive conference will cover:
- Hands-on self-regulation strategies that tap semantic feature analysis to expand disciplinary vocabulary and sentence skills.
- Features of executive functioning will be described as it relates to the role of automaticity and strategy learning for dealing with working memory deficits in students with language learning difficulties.
- Writing strategies will be discussed that help children with language learning difficulties overcome processing deficits that form obstacles to their language storage, retrieval and formulation for writing.
