CURRENT SCHOLARSHIPS
1987 | Cherida Collins Smith personal scholarship monies. Cherida was a student of Gloria Davis and after attending an IDA Conference, told Gloria that every teacher should attend, and she has helped by continuing a yearly gift.
These scholarships are for teachers to attend national conferences. (fall) |
2008 | The Dorothy Whitehead Scholarship was created by Ron Yoshimoto in lieu of his
speaking fee that year. He wanted to honor Dorothy by creating scholarships for public school teachers to attend Oregon Branch conferences. These scholarships are for public school teachers to attend branch conferences/symposium. (spring) |
2011 | The Gary and Judy Wright Scholarship was created by the Oregon Branch board when Cheryl Anthony was president to honor their years of service to the branch.
These scholarships are for members to attend branch conferences/symposium. (spring) |
2023 | The Charlotte Andrist Scholarship was created by Ron Yoshimoto to honor Dr. Andrist by creating two scholarships for psychologists to attend Oregon Branch conferences.

2023 | The Helaine Schupack Scholarship was created by Ron Yoshimoto to honor Helaine Schupack by creating scholarships for two Orton Oaks to attend Oregon Branch conferences.
These scholarships are for two Orton Oaks to attend branch conferences/symposium (spring). |
2023 | The Marcia Mann Scholarship was created by Ron Yoshimoto to honor Marcia Mann by creating scholarships for two IDA Members to attend Oregon Branch conferences.

2023 | The Diana Hanbury King Scholarship was created by Ron Yoshimoto to honor Diana King by creating scholarships for three students to attend Oregon Branch conferences.
