In the Spotlight…

“I am running until everyone can read!”
– Jared Blank
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I raised $50,000 for the International Dyslexia Association!!! I am BEYOND grateful that we have reached the fundraising goal for the International Dyslexia Association. I am humbled by and indebted to all those that donated, shared my story and followed this journey. Thank you to all the donors! These funds will support the people that are working to change the culture around dyslexia, the teachers that are in the classroom, and of course the families and students. The students that are just like me. My heart is warm. I am running until everyone can read!
Thank You Jared!
Jared Blank, a native of Oregon who grew up and went to school in Portland, has partnered with TeamQuest to raise $50,000 for the International Dyslexia Association so that teachers, parents, and students can receive the resources and support they need in order to be successful.
Diagnosed with dyslexia when he was five years old, Jared learned that, for him, academic success would be a matter of hard work and endurance. Today, he has graduate degrees from Seattle Pacific University and University of Southern California, and has completed numerous marathons and most recently the World Marathon Challenge, finishing in 12th place and ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days.
“I will continue to reach out to young people with dyslexia and encourage them to challenge themselves so they too can achieve their dreams.”
