2026 Holloway Service Award – Betsy Ramsey


The Holloway Service Award recognizes individuals who have devoted many years to improving the lives of people with dyslexia through their generous contributions of time and talent, to the International Dyslexia Association – Oregon Branch.

This year, Betsy Ramsey receives the 2026 Holloway Award for her exceptional service to IDA Oregon. Since joining in 1990, she has served as a board member, committee member, branch president, and is presently the Information and Referral spokesperson, dedicating countless hours to those seeking guidance. Betsy’s contributions extend to representing IDA and students with learning disabilities on Oregon State Education Committees and Advisory Boards. While Betsy often helped nominate others for awards, her own eligibility was frequently missed due to her ongoing board roles.
