IDA’s Annual International Conference is the premier professional development conference dedicated to dyslexia. The conference brings in experts from all over the world to educate attendees on the latest research, remediation, and more. The Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference is held for both professionals and families and is attended by some 2,500 teachers, educators, and administrators, reading specialists, researchers, university faculty, psychologists, physicians, tutors, and parents.
Scholarships funded in recognition to International Dyslexia Association – Oregon Branch by Ms. Cherida Collins Smith
APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 6, 2019
Ms. Cherida Collins Smith Scholarship. ELIGIBILITY: Educators and administrators at all levels may apply, with classroom teachers especially desirable. Applicants must work within the geographically defined boundaries of the Oregon Branch, including the southwest Washington counties of Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania and Klickitat. These eight Scholarships will be in the amount of Early Bird Member Registration rates – $499. Funded through the generosity of Ms. Cherida Collins Smith.
- These scholarships are intended to help individuals who do not have access to funding from school districts or other employers.
- Scholarship applicants will be notified prior to the closure of the “Early Bird Special” rate so that individuals who do not receive a scholarship are able to take advantage of these cost savings.
