Marcia Mann Scholarship: Restricted to Public School SPED Teachers or Speech-Language Pathologists working with students who live within the geographically defined boundaries of the Oregon Branch, including the Southwest Washington counties of Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat.

Marcia Mann, MA, CCC, F/AOGPE
Marcia Mann received a BA degree from NYU in Speech Pathology, and after a year of intensive study with Margaret Byrd Rawson, in the field of Language Based Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia), at Hoop College, went on to Stanford School of Medicine where she was awarded an MA in Speech Pathology.
For over 40 years Ms. Mann has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Orton-Gillingham Practitioner and Teacher Trainer. She has served as consultant to school districts and hospitals, and lectured extensively in the United States and internationally, and served on the faculty of several colleges & universities.
Currently in private practice in New Jersey, Ms. Mann is a former board member of the New York and South Carolina Branches of the International Dyslexia Association, and a Founding Fellow and Trustee as well as Vice-President of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners (AOGPE). She served on the board of AOGPE along with Ronald Yoshimoto and Dorothy Blossner Whitehead.
